At its core, Grow a Garden is a multiplayer idle farming game. Players begin with a small plot of land and a few basic seeds — carrots, tulips, strawberries, and other crops. The mechanics are simple: plant seeds, wait for them to grow, harvest the crops, sell them for in-game currency (“Sheckles”), and reinvest that money into better seeds, larger plots, and cosmetic upgrades. Some plants continue growing even while you’re offline, creating a satisfying passive progression loop that keeps players checking in.

Over time, players can unlock mutant plants, adopt helpful pets that water or speed up growth, purchase tools and gear that improve harvests, and participate in special seasonal events like the Blood Moon, Summer Jam, or Bizzy Bees. These events often introduce temporary seeds or unique mutations that boost profit and increase replayability.
